Like Reason huh? Where you been man, that program rocks! :) A lot of people bash it saying that it's a toy or not pro-level, but since it can import 24 bit samples and integrates seamlessly with Cubase, I don't think they know what they're talking about. It's funny that you are thinking of selling your XL-7 and transferrign your songs to Reason, I'm trying to do the opposite! Drum programming in Reason is sick sick sick, I'm dying to be able to transfer my drum samples from that to the XL-7 for use. Too bad the hardware needed for burning roms is so outrageously expensive, I can't justify spending money on a E5000 just for this purpose. Anyway, ReDrum and Dr.Rex are both worth the price of the program on their own, such flexibility with just those two modules! Combined with ReCycle you can do amazing things to drum tracks.... rEalm I spent far too much time playing around with Reason last night. I was blown away. You can get >so< much more interactivity out of Reason than the X-boxes can provide, mainly due to the more functional sequencer section, and the fact that you can use all the buttons on your keyboard to control tracks. You have to check this one out guys. I'm seriously considering selling the XL-7, though it would mean porting all my songs to Reason. I have yet to synch the two up - if only one or the other had better midi routing... I'd use a logic environment to convert, but Logic is far too flaky to take on stage. Any suggetions?
