Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

I want to use the XL7 to control and change patterns on 3 other groove boxes 
(Korg Electribes). The problem is that the prog change is usually received 
just after the pattern starts, causing the new pattern not to kick in until 
the end of the current one.

Does anyone out there have any idea how I'd get these to be received just 
before the pattern starts? The alternative is to put the program changes at 
the end of the preceding pattern but that mean I won't be able to change 
them on the fly.
