drj0, Nifflas is correct. They all utilize the same OS format and have the same features. The only visible difference is that the pads are missing on the 2500. If you were to take the MP-7 ROM and put it in the 2500, you would have a MP-7 without the pads in the 2500 shell and the same goes for if the 2500 ROM was put in to one of the **- 7's, you would then have a 2500 with pads in a CS shell.
