Having a little trouble here. can anyone help?
I hooked my Ea-1 up to midi output b. I have it set to midi channels 1&2. I have midi enable for channels 1b-2b set to off so that the CS sounds don't play on those channels.
When I select channels 1b-2b I am able to play the EA-1 with the pads on the CS.
When I go into realtime recording, it will count in, use metronome, allow me to play the Ea-1 with the pads, however it will not record what I am playing.
When I go into grid mode recording, it will allow me to play the pads as if to select the sound however the on,off info does not change meaning that actually it is not allowing me to sequence with the grid buttons.
When ever I try to create patterns in realtime or gridmode using the internal sounds it works fine.
The problems I'm having with the external synths happen on both output a and b.
I've tried using 3 different synths, all act the same way leading me to believe that I'm just missing some setting that the manual is unclear about. (or maybe my new CS is malfunctioning which would really suck!)
Any thoughts?
