Sorry to say, you can't do that, the user presets are for you to tweak a sound and save it. But the original sample stays intact on the rom. If you take the rom out it just won't play. You should find an empty shell on ebay. It sounds like you have all the roms you want. But the shells cost maybe $50. I have seen quite a few on there in the past couple of months. Good luck. This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
