The silent YouTube vids inspired me to find the manual (http://www.behringerdownload.de/BCR2000/BCF2000_BCR2000_ENG_Rev_C.pdf)easy enough. Looks fairly straight forward, as long as you go through the manual step-by-step and decide how you might want to use it. The most obvious is setting up CCs on the BCR2000 to control whatever you want on the E-Mu. What you want to map it to is 100% up to you. The pdf manual is nice in that it starts you off with the basics of midi and gets more complex from there. I can see the appeal of using it with computer-based software audio stuff. It looks like it is so multi-functioned, you are only limited by your imagination--and, of course, the built-in functions of your gear/software. For example, if none of your gear/software responds to NRPNs (or RPNs), that capability of the bcr2000 is useless. But there's still tons that you can do with it. Check out the vids; they should inspire you with ideas.
