Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

Actually the realistic choice is simply to get another Emu rack (preferably one
going cheap) that has the next board your after, and fill it with the boards
your missing whilst playing it over Midi.  USB sync/Audio chaining would be
IDEAL.

So the choices are:

1) Figure I've purchased my quota of Emu products already.

2) Create a RAM card that emulates a ROM card, and put that into the last
ROM card slot, with ribbon cable and open slots as pictured.  Yeah, this
would mean a semi-manual loading of the RAM before using it, and one
couldn't use two additional ROM cards at the same time unless the RAM
loader were really clever in its loading -- but that would mean patches and
such would change number every time you loaded ...
