Re: Another XL-7 crashes hanging itself error error ARGH ;)

Hello there. I use mine as a stand alone sequencer. It has crashed
on me a few times but usaly when doing complicated stuff eg.
wrighting a pattern and then going in and editing presets one after
another and all wile it is playing. It has never crashed on me when
laying down a track for recording or anything like that.

There is still a couple of things that piss me off each time I use it
and i have no idea if the first one is being addresed in the next
os. The first one being sompthing that has been going on since the
begining of this box and that is when swithing patterns there is
still a glitch when i press the HOME/ENTER button to "activate" the
next pattern. This has been left WAY TOO LONG in my opinion. In my
openion this one fix alone is worth its own OS update. Like not
waiting 6 months and for the third os update. Ok enuf bitching.

The other thing that gets my goat is the still lacking USB port. I
know that they are working on it and I can only try and emagine how
hard it is to work with windows code but it would be soooooo nice to
have it working. I know for alot of people it will work for the next
os but i am now using XP and it will be a long wait for me. I dont
want to have to buy another midi card just to be able to back up my
work.

Peace

Mike
