Alas, no.  You can personally blame me for that gigantic oversight. 
Songs were pretty much always the bastard stepchild of the XL-7.  There
was always that unfortunate knowledge that there was no good way out of
song mode other than by importing the patterns, but I could never
justify spending much time on anything song mode related.

Someday, I'll do a v3...  <sigh>
