Hi I recently got an Mp7 and have been learning to use it. I am a relative newbie when it comes to music production, especially when it comes to midi and configuring different tone generators/grooveboxes to sync with pc-based sequencers. I have made several patterns on the MP-7 that I would like to export[record] to Logic 7. I do not know where to start really. Would I have to create an MP-7 enviroment within Logic? I would have absolutely no clue how to go about this. I do not know what I have to record, whether it be audio or midi. Does the E-Loader come into the picture at any stage of the process? I would like to record each sound within the patterns on a seperate channel, as I am then transferring the audio from Logic onto a Yamaha DM2000 for mixing and eq/fx [this process is not a problem as it is already set up] Sorry for my general lack of knowledge on the subject field, but I am really keen to get on top of it. -regards. p.s. if someone can explain quantizing on the mp7 it would be of real use as I find the quantization function on the mp7 very frustrating as compared to the relative ease-of-use of Logic's [visual aid aside].
