the archives, and I'll note that I myself have wonered in regard to
effective means of creating such.

My typical hang up was that one would be limited to a drum map
containing only 4 drums, but while tearing through my PX-7 manual, I
ran into an interesting section that actually dealt with creating drum
maps.

The primary basis of the approach was based on patch linking.....I
don't know why I never thought of this myself, but such an approach
does move the 4 drum limitation up to 12 (a decent amount).

The manual also goes into some things in regard to utilizing existing
drum maps....I don't remember off hand what it states, but I will
offer up retype of what is actually in the manual later on this
evening when I have time.
