Re: [xl7] PX-7 problem with Logic Pro 7.1

2005-12-14 by Aaron Eppolito

The Logic ruler turns blue when it is locked to or waiting for sync. The PX-7 sends start and stop messages if enabled. You can do one of two things. First, you can turn the transmission of start/stop on the PX-7. It's in the MIDI menu. Alternatively, you could disable the reception of sync in Logic. I think you hold the mouse down on the little clock button and pick sync settings. Disable all or the clock stuff.

blue, not sure what this means, but all midi data is then stopped
(through logic) until I press play in Logic. Has anybody experienced
this with their XX-7 as well? I don't necessarily want to start/stop
logic with my PX-7, but I do want to use it as a controller (pads and
knobs)
