The Logic ruler turns blue when it is locked to or waiting for sync. The PX-7 sends start and stop messages if enabled. You can do one of two things. First, you can turn the transmission of start/stop on the PX-7. It's in the MIDI menu. Alternatively, you could disable the reception of sync in Logic. I think you hold the mouse down on the little clock button and pick sync settings. Disable all or the clock stuff. -Aaron isomakcb <isomakcb@...> wrote: Pressing the play button on my PX-7 makes the top bar in Logic turn blue, not sure what this means, but all midi data is then stopped (through logic) until I press play in Logic. Has anybody experienced this with their XX-7 as well? I don't necessarily want to start/stop logic with my PX-7, but I do want to use it as a controller (pads and knobs) Cross-posting to logic-users.
