Hello all, I use an xl7 but this is more about recording with a laptop. I just purchased the tascam 122 usb soundcard. I want to get a laptop and am wondering the minimum specs I should go with when recording music. I have an 200 gb external harddrive that i can use with it as well as a 512 ram memory card that i could upgrade. I dont want to get something that will be too slow to run programs to use. Thank you
