Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

Due to the fact that the bts or riffs are pre recorded phrases into the cards , i can tell you that you can't play beats without having these bts in your cards. So i you have other cards with bts you can assign them to your own presets. If no you must sequence them manually in the sequencer but you can't record these sequence as part of bts. It's the default of this machine ( instead of the Rm1x where you can made your preset and assign them to a sequence wich will be remembered with the "phrase" ). But you can still use the x-mix .

So for the heck of it I compared the MP7 presets and the M'PHATT presets from the user manuals and they are not the same.  There are no bts presets in the MP7 and they are replaced with kits, prc or other things.  The M'PHATT ROM has bts.  But what does this all meaHello,

....I can't do bts on the command stations ?  I'm not sure. Only with a ROM with bts ? I don't know because I have only tried the bts on my XL-1. I guess I am going into the studio to look at my XL-7 with an added M'PHATT ROM and compare that to my XL-1 that I know has bts that works.....
