This is by design (and is also identical to the E4).  When you plug
something into a sub out, its DRY SIGNAL gets removed from the mains
and instead is sent to the sub jack.  However, the WET SIGNAL still
goes to the mains at the amount specified in the FXA/FXB send amounts
screens.  This allows you to do BOTH what you want and what you don't
want (but what someone else might want).  Simply set the send % to zero
for subs that you don't want to be effected (and thus heard at the
mains).
