Wow. I was just thinking about the same things, friend! You are in luck! And yes, I do know what the f%$#@ you're talking about!! HA! I've just recently downloaded some midi patterns that are some of the classic Drum n' Bass breaks INCLUDING THE AMEN. I found it here: http://www.simonv.com/music/tutorial/ NOW - Here's the trick. If you want to make this easier to download to the command station, it's best to separate each drum track (kick, snare, ghost snare, hihat, hi hat accent, and tamborine) into seperate channels in a program like cubase or the like and then export that as a midi file. (I did this by just making several duplicates of the midi track and then erasing away midi notes until I had individual drum tracks.) Perhaps there are different ways to approach this part that others can suggest but it worked well for me. You can then load the .mid as a pattern into the command station using e-loader. The above midi files contain subtle variations of velocity data to make the breaks sounds pretty damn good indeed. They may not be the classic sound of chopped up samples, but you'll never to be tied down to tempos or the kinds of snares, kicks and other percusssive elements you can substitute for the samples that **everyone else** uses.
