OK so one of the things that bugged me about grid recording on the XL- 7 was that I couldn't change gate time to greater than 100%, then today I'm messing with a preset pattern and I notice the Gate time is "Tie"!!!! Wish I had of known of this before. But ... I change the Gate time to another value (100%) and now I can't get back to "Tie". Nothing in the manual either.
