Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

press MIDI button - pg 1 is BASE TEMPO -hit Right Cursor button 1X to
position cursor on TEMPO (bpm) - Scroll LEFT to below "1" - it will
read EXT. Now the machine is ready to sync to MIDI beat clock
