I must say you should be shopping these around if your not already....well produced and constructed keep up the good work! >>>Thank you. I do send out demos of all my tunes, sadly no takers in a long while :( <<< dig theguitar that comes in around 1:00 is that the Pod Xt? I was thinking about getting one....have you used the Pro version? >>>Yes, this is my Ibanez S540FM guitar running through a Pod XT, and I have all of the new model packs for the Pod installed as well. I played with a Pro version briefly when I was debating getting the bean versus the rack mount Pod XT. They sound identical, the only real difference is connections. I personally though the bean was a better value for the money. <<< We All Follow The Moon....nice deep house track....lots of guitar again....you like those reversed sounds >>>I'm a sucker for reversed sounds, I admit it. I love how just playing something backwards can totally change it's feel and context. Probably one of my most used key commands in SX :) <<< Fate is Powerless...cool 303 happenin' here...chunky beats....nice atmosphere comin' in....cool arps...where they from?sounds like the Virus.... >>>Yes, those are from the Virus. <<< I'm curious to find out how much of the Px-7 is in these tracks.... >>>These days I'm mainly using the PX-7 for percussion sounds like toms and ethnic hits, that sort of thing. The World rom is great for this kind of stuff. Sometimes I'll use a sine (or the subduh) wave from the PX-7 to add more weight to the basslines, but mainly just percusions sounds. <<< I have an Xl-7 and use it for beats mostly...just figured out that I need to run it through a compressor to really get it to hit.... >>>Some compression really seems to help, I'll give you that. <<< you ever use the midi features with your Virus or any hardware? >>>Yes, there's been a few times I've used the arps in the Px-7 to control other gear like the Virus. But in terms of the PX-7 sequencer, if I use it in a song, it's mostly to control only the PX-7. If I need to sequence other gear, I can typically do it faster in SX. That's just my preference though. The only other thing I use the PX-7's midi functions for, is applying swing quantize to previously recorded midi notes. If I have something midi sequenced in SX, sometimes I'll export that as a midi file, import it into the PX-7, use it's swing quantize, then reverse the procedure. I really like the swing in the command stations, it's very musical sounding. To be honest, I almost never use midi anymore period. I typically just play my parts by hand and record them into SX as audio files. It's just more immediate and intuitive for me. <<< rEalm The information transmitted is intended only for the person(s)or entity to which it is addressed and may contain confidential and/or legally privileged material.
