Q:  Can the 32 bars per pattern restriction be removed (or set to a high 
number)?

Q:  In pattern mode, can the box be slaved to an external sequencer 
(external clock, start, stop, and rec if in rec pause mode)?  If it's in 
the docs I missed it and I couldn't find it in the menus.

Q:  What is the feasibility for song mode to have 1 pattern track and 16 
midi tracks?

>>>You can program tempo changes in the song track, as well as any 
controller moves that extend longer that the length of a pattern.  OR you 
could use it as a psuedo automation channel. <<<

Q:  Can the sequencer resolution be changed to 480 ticks per beat (for 
consistancy/compatibility with other sequencers)?

>>>No, although if you're using anotehr sequencer, it won't matter as it's 
that sequencer's resolution that gets used anyway. <<<
