I thin he means like Pattern Call functions ala Roland.  You hit a button 
and one of the keypads, and the pattern you assign to that pad is selected 
to play next.  It's useful for organizing a live set, as you don't need to 
go scrolling through your patterns, you just hit a keypad to call up the 
next one.

what do you mean? "Random-access pattern switching" it can do this 
already.
As well as "List Edit".
