Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

first off, someone needs to start banning these
bastards who are spamming us!

ok, so my PX7 looks great, and appears to work great. 
the encoder wheel has a little bit of a rough feeling
for half of it's revolution.  if I pull out on it a
little bit and twist it feels smoother (like my XL-1)
does this mean it took an impact?  should I do
something to it, or is it just gonna annoy me a little
bit?
(scored it on ebay for like $470)

thanks in advance,  and now I can actually join in on
more discussions than just the synth engine.
