Regular writes don't really count because they're not erasing anything.
 Compaction will use two write cycles per flash block.  Essentially
nothing you'll have to worry about.  I posted a very long discussion
about this a long while back.  If the archives didn't suck so much, I'd
suggest searching for it, but it would take you forever to find.
