thanks, i check this out..... ----Original Message Follows---- From: "steve_the_composer" <smw-mail@...> Reply-To: xl7@yahoogroups.com To: xl7@yahoogroups.com Subject: [xl7] Re: How to edit individual note lengths; How to set up note lengths in step mode Date: Fri, 03 Sep 2004 11:57:33 -0000 Example: T01 NOTE <-> 001.01.113 C02 A v:120 dur:01.120 I just did a test under OS2.0. The changes I made to the dur [duration] field (01.120) stayed even when I switched to play another pattern. The edited pattern did have an asterisk (*) and would need to be saved to keep the changes. If you edit another pattern before saving the changes, you will lose the first set of changes. Once you enter the note editor by pressing enter when the E-Mu says "press enter to view/edit" the changes seem to stay in the note edit buffer until you re-start the editor with a different. In my test the note editor buffer kept the changes even when I (a) edited notes on a different track and (b) entered the event editor. When you scrolled back, did you use the <-> field to scroll through the data? When I first started editing, I accidently began changing the time field (001.01.113) by mistake. The time field is in the upper right corner. Perhaps this is what you are changing?
