Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

Hi all,

I have been recording some parts over from my MC505 to my PX7. On one 
particular track, the recording works fine, the notes are recorded, 
and play back OK. I have part 9 on the PX7 playing a bass line on the 
EA1, and part 11 playing a lead line on the EA1. It all works 
fine,until powering off and back on. Then the bass line is still 
fine, but the lead line is messed up, it plays OK for the first 2 
bars, but then seems to transform itself into a pad type sound. As it 
cycles, the problem remains.

I have tried it with different synths, and the internal sounds, and 
the same thing keeps happening. If I record it again, and save it, it 
is fine again, until I power off and back on. This seems weird, 
surely it should play the pattern back as it was saved?

I'd appreciate any inisghts...
