Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

Hi all...  I've been trying to use the volume and pan knobs on the XL 
to control those paramaters on my other gear.  I was having a bit of 
trouble, so I checked things out with Midiox.

Volume and pan information only seems to transmit to the A output.  
Is there a way to change this, or is it by design?  

If I have to switch everything over to the A out, I guess it's no big 
deal... I had been considering a switch anyway.  I currently use A 
channels for the internal synth and B channels for outboard, but I 
rarely use more than 16 tracks in a song... if I do, I just end up 
combining tracks anyway.  It seems like I'm just doing a lot of 
unnecessary setup, and it would actually be to my advantage to have 
everything together on the A channels.
