Thanks as always! I have Logic Audio Big Box, which I bought last year and still haven't opened (shortly after, I joined my first orchestra and was busily practicing to get up to speed). I'm debating the relative merits of staying on the Logic platform or switching over to MOTU. I don't have a real mixer yet to organize the audio outputs of the XL-7 and my 2 Nord synths and am trying to decide between a "traditional" Mackie type mixer or a MOTU 828MkII which could do double duty as a Firewire audio interface and mixer. If I choose the latter, I hear Digital Performer integrates especially well with the 828MkII. Basically, I'm still not finished assembling my bedroom studio and just want to get gear (audio multitracking software, mixer, audio interface) that will work well together. I read horror stories all the time about gear that won't play nice with each other ;) Paolo
