You can do that?!?!? I have had a Planet Earth for some time now and
love the sound set, but got a PX7 recently because I needed the pads and
the sequencer. I was even thinking of buying a ROM for the PX7 that
contained the Planet Earth soundset, and selling the Planet Earth. But
if I can just transfer the ROM over ... wow!

How do you do it? Does it invalidate warranty?

So are all EMU rackmounts identical except for the sound ROM? I.e. I
could take out the ROM from my Planet Earth, plug in the ROM for an
Proteus 2000, and I'd have a full Proteus 2000?

Sorry if these are noob questions, but I just have begun to tap the
potential of these EMU synths I bought, and, well, I guess I *am* a
noob. :-)
