I can't recall the post, but someone recently asked about hwo they 
could do 1 measure fills.

I will try this idea when I have some free time this week, but wanted 
to run it by you.

Couldn't you design a drum preset so that it had 4 layers of the same 
kit, each RTXFaded and transposed across a 4 octave range (or 8 if 
youwanted, 2 octaves per layer).

Then record track 1 to have a 4, 8, 16 or 32 bar pattern of your 
liking in Octave # 1 (preset 1).

Also record constant 1 measure "fills" of your liking in octaves 
2,3,4 for all measures.

Route touchstrip to realtime crossfade, and then have 
dynamic/spontaneous fun.



You should also be able to expand on this idea using different kits, 
preset links, effect routing, etc...
