To be honest, I gave up on the MIDI guitar thing after being a user for the last 10 years. (my last use was with a yamaha G50 and the roland converter on a Steinberger) Yeah, it tracked OK, but let me tell you, your synth will come alive when you play it with an actual good (not cheezy oxygen8s or similar keyboards) MIDI keyboard controller. I invested in the Novation Remote25 and a month after I realized I had not used the MIDI converter in all that time and I'd actually become fairly good at the keyboard. Pitch to MIDI has come a long way... but it still doesn't cut the mustard IMO. When you play a Sitar patch with aftertouch set to detune on a good MIDI controller, you'll know exactly what I'm talking about. just my 3 cents.
