I dunno how much spare cash you got at the mo, but there's an Axon AX-100 going on eBay for $425 right now, which is dirt cheap considering these things usually go for between $600-800 or even more... This one includes the pickup too. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2558149623&category=621 &rd=1 Alternatively, you could try a Yamaha G-50... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2559166638&category=330 33 ;)) Stu -----Original Message----- From: erik_magrini@... The Axon was definitely the best, but it was still giving me the occasional glitch. I just can't spend the money right now on something that requires me to change my playing style too much. The Axon was like 90% there in terms of playability for me, so hopefully in the very near future improvement in the system will make me change my mind. rEalm I've got an Axon AX-100 which I think is great.. plays fine for me... It glitches a bit, but that's coz my guitar has always been very harmonically rich which seems to throw the convertor sometimes (old dull strings actually work better...) Bends and slides play great - no problem there... I got it set to 24 semitones pitchbend range which seems to work better for me than 12 semitones. What convertor(s) did you try?
