Steinberg's The Grand is definitely my first choice whenever I need a
piano now, it really is very nice sounding, certainly better than anything
you'd find in Rompler IMO. The only thing is that you'll need lots of
hard drive space (about 2.5GB if I remember correctly) and a decent amount
of RAM (at least 512MB). If you have that, then I would definitely
recommend it. Also, slightly cheaper is the Edirol HQ Orchestra VSTi too,
which has a very nice piano as well as other good sounds. Cheaper, but of
course not as nice as the Grand IMO. Both of these are the two I settled
for whan trying out tons of piano samples and softsynths.

If you would still rather get a ROM, the Piano on the P2500 ROM isn't that
bad either, I use it when I don't feel like powering up the PC to play
(err...try to play piano)...

Speaking of which, anyone know of any good sites with finger exercises fro
improving your chops, or sites with full on piano tutorials? I haven't
had much luck finding decent sites...

I looked around and found this plug called "Steinberg The Grand
Virtual Grand Piano"... Has anyobody tried it? I also have an EMu ESi
sampler with 128mb of memory... If anybody know of a good sample cd
or plug please help me out....
