Thanks! I don't know much about the soft module/synth subject... What I'm really looking for is a soft/hard module with good acoustic and old keyboard sounds... >>>Ah, you definitely don't want Plex then, it's more for weird sounds and shit you've never heard before. <<< I'm not much of a synthhead... I'm quite happy in that deparment with my XL-7, the ES1/2 in logic 5 and the free stuff I've downloaded like crystal 2. I just mess with the parameters til i get something I like... Mostly atmospheric sounds and some background melodies/harmonies. Where I'm not fully happy is with the acoustic pianos (and strings for the most part)... Any advice on that deparment? >>>If you want to keep it in the XL-7, I'd suggest a P2500 Rom (otherwise known as the Proteus Pop ROM) which is exactly what I use for those types of sounds. Otherwise, in terms of software you could maybe go with Sampletank and a bread and butter collection of samples they offer. In terms of hardware, maybe something like a Roland JV1010, or a used XV-2020? Going to be hard to find hardware that cheap though, even used. My vote would be for the ROM. <<< rEalm [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
