I use Plex once in awhile (it IS a softsynth BTW), it's a pretty cool sound module, but if it was all I was going to buy, I think I'd look at other options first. It can do some neat things very easily, but it's simplicity is also it's downfall. You can't adjust the filter cutoff for example, only choose the type of filter to apply. It's a neat synth don't get me wrong, but it's kind of expensive for what it can do. I think D'cota sounds better too. For that money I think you'd be better off with Pro53 or maybe Absynth 2.0. Just my $.02 though. rEalm Also, has anyone tried a soft module like plex, or something similar, with good results? It seems that it'd be hell easy to setup sounds that way but so far I've never tried one... Just soft synths and samplers...
