Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

Open it up and make sure everything's seated properly. If it still don't
work send it back to your supplier and ask for a replacement.

hi,

after weeks of waiting I finally got my XL7.
opened the box and started playing around. waaw what a sound.
BUT ... after 30 minutes of scrolling down the factory presets my XL7
frooze! It gave the following message "ERROR!CODE=001 FATAL:BAD
INSTRUCTION" and I couldn't do anything anymore. After that it
wouldn't start up properly ... it immediately frooze or stopped
playing after 5 minutes ...

What am i doing wrong? or is my machine messed up ...
