What program are you trying to sync the MP-7 up to, Cakewalk, Logic, Cubase, etc? Try these: -Check to see if you've got a midi loop happening. If you're using a software sequencer, see if turning off it's midi thru feature fixes the problem, or turn off the midi thru feature of the MP instead. -Maybe decrease the ppqn setting in the host pogram just to see if that helps. Make sure you're not sending the MP-7 loads of sysex inadvertantly too, that'll clog it up real quick. -One more thing to check would be your cable too, try swapping cables as a last resort and make sure you're not getting some type of internal short in the signal caused by a kink or small cut. Also, have you successfully synced up other gear with that Midi interface? I know that LTC is a sequencer specific protocol used only for MOTU stuff (ie Digital Performer) so you don't want to be using that mode. Try and sync it to a free demo of Cubase or something else and see if it locks up then too. rEalm It's just a clock signal ... I've tried to send Internal PC Clock (Fast Timing), LTC High (Fast Timing), LTC Slow (Slow Timing) ... it's the same ...I think it could be the fact of recieving the clock at too high rate but I really don't know how to slow it !!!
