Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

i bought a demo xl for 460 (plus tax so it came out to about 500)

power cable, manual (mp-7....but i assume both machines are the same 
except for the sounds) no installation cd :( operating system 1.0

warranty, etc...

i know some sites are offering it for 499 brand new, but i didnt want 
to deal with the hassle of buying online (i got it from my local GC)

did i get screwed, or is this a good deal?

will i be able to update the operating system without the cd? (i hope 
so :( )
