Hello All, Gary Chang has designed a very nice compact case for his Wiard modules. I have uploaded a picture of the initial aluminum back piece to the photos section. Gary and I are doing the power wiring differently for this case design. The DIN plug in back is eliminated and the DC supply is distributed by Blacet PSCONs located behind the jack boards. Power wiring comes out through the slot in the module cover. I have asked Gary to get a quote for a 6 module wide version of this case. If the price is not too outrageous, I'm going to try and come up with a standard design. It would be nice to find a way to fit a Blacet PS500 supply inside the case also. The wooden cases look very nice, but they add a lot of space. I have been meaning to explore a more space saving case design, but it seems Gary has already come up with the most compact possible design. Existing modules could be retrofit to the case by soldering a new power connector to the PC boards. Of course the aluminum case could be anodized blue or black (silver, plum?)
