Hello All,

SKB has introduced a new case call the "DJ Shuttle". It has a 
slanting top with a snap on soft cover. Price is $79 at MARS.

This has a slanted 8U top and a vertical 5U section at the front.

I purchased one to experiment with mounting a Wiard System in. 
The rack rails are just plastic, and there is some bending in the 
rotomolding. The Wiard and Joystick controller seem to be about 
1/8" too tall to just drop in.

I think some minor reworking of the plastic would allow the unit 
to mount in the top section. With the Joystick underneath the 
modules, the combined depth of the Joystick and jack panels 
should allow mounting effects units in the front rack area.

The height and angle are comfortable for stand up playing. I 
actually like it better than the pop-up mixer case. Also the molded 
in carrying handles are nice.
