The Main Value of this module will be the 1/4" to 1/8" conversions. I use a
specific group of cables with my MOTM and other 1/4" stuff and a specific
group of cables for all of my 1/8" stuff. This module would be a great
replacement for all of the crappy 1/8" to 1/4" cables I have. The 6-jack
multi would only be a bonus since I never plan to use banana jacks. Maybe
you can now make an Expando-Mult for us guys specifically intefacing with
Blacet and the forbidden D (1U 1/4" to 1/8" conversion module maybe with 2
simple attenuators on it((since most of the CV inputs on my Blacet modules
have no attenuation)). We are out here and I think some people might want
one of these??? What do you say guys?

I also have Doepfer (there, I said it! Ban me from the list, I don't care
:-) and Blacet modules, and my solution has been to buy and/or make adaptor
cables instead of taking up panel space with the 940. I got a bunch of
cheap 1/8" to 1/4" cables a while ago, not sure of the brand, they're black
and 18" long. Also, I made a few 3' cables. On the more recent Blacet kits
I've built, I've just drilled out the holes for the jacks larger and used
1/4", there's generally enough panel space on John's kits for this. For my
forthcoming Time Machine, though, I plan on using an MOTM-style front
panel.

The adapter cables work OK for me, but keeping all three of my types of
cables separate is a bitch. I would like to eliminate one of the three piles
if I can. As far as drilling out the jacks for 1/4" I can't bring myself to
do it. I would rather put the whole module into an MOTM type panel than
cover up the jack silk-screens with 1/4" washers and nuts. Just my opinion.

I bought a bunch of these from Radio Shack online. They were quite
inexpensive. I think you can also get them in their stores. I also have a
1/8" to 1/4" single space panel in my FrakRak, but refuse to put 1/8" jacks
in my MOTM rack.
