motm 700 question

2001-11-26 by sikorsky

hello all

another question - this time directed at paul:

i've a cd player with a pause control jack that works by shorting 4.7V to
earth
i could simply wire a jack that was tip shorted to sleeve and plop that in
one side of the motm 700, plug the cd player (correctly polarised) into the
other side, apply a gate to the motm 700 cv input and hey presto instant cv
controlable cd player..?

or am i missing something

cheers
paul b
