Does anyone have demos or tracks online featuring some of various Blacet Modules? Specifically, I'm interested in the Time Machine (which appears temp. out of stock) and the Dark Star Chaos module - but anything would be cool. Thanks, John

Just found one going through the AH archives. If anyone else is interested: http://legion.retrosynth.com/Ana_dig.mp3 Arp Sequencer controlling a Frequency Divider, Klangwerk, and Dark Star Chaos. Absolutely sick. --- In motm@y..., jpotter2@t... wrote:

Hi List, Does anyone that has built the MOTM-120 kit know if the small holes on the PCB are Via holes? I have only built the MOTM-410 which had some and these look similar. I'm just not seeing anything about them in the instructions. Would this be a job for the organic flux solder? Any help is appreciated! Thanks, John

Hi John - Yes, the left over little holes are via holes. It's usually best to do them with no-clean solder if all the parts have been soldered in. You shouldn't wash the board after some components have been put in. Mike PS - A little dab'll do ya! don't put to much in the via holes... mm --- In motm@y..., John Broaddus <john@p...> wrote: > Hi List, > > Does anyone that has built the MOTM-120 kit know if the small holes on the > PCB are Via holes? Hello everyone, I've actually wondered about this for awhile.. Why is soldering the via holes recommended? Does it have to do with reliability in any way? It's possible that I missed it in some of the kits' instructions but some of the kits don't specifically say to solder them. I could be wrong though. : ) Thanks, Andrew Sanchez --- In motm@y..., "Mike Marsh" <mmarsh@s...> wrote: > Hi John - > > Yes, the left over little holes are via holes.
