Simple amusements for small minds

Simple amusements for small minds

2001-05-10 by mate_stubb@yahoo.com

I'm easily amused this evening - I've been having too much fun with
this simple patch:

MOTM-320 lfo sine out to MOTM-120 A in.
MOTM-120 out to MOTM-300 FM1 in.
MOTM-300 sine out to a VCA
Add a touch of reverb if you can.

320 rate = 8.5, shape = 5
120 sub mode, all pots = 10 (B in = don't care), mix A = square

300 freq = 5.2, fm1 = 5 (exp)

You should get a mad knocking sound that sounds like demented
drumming. Now play with the 120's pot levels and mix A switch
position to get interesting variations. My patch seems to have a
slight element of chaos about it, because it switches in and out of
rhythmic patterns sometimes even when I'm not touching it.

Enjoy,

Moe

This is cool! I tried adding a little Pink noise to FM2 and well...
