To expand: If you are building a wood "Moog modular" looking cabinet, you build inset wooden cross pieces at the top and bottom, and in the middle if your cab is more than 1 module tall. Now you need drilled and tapped metal rails to screw modules in to. The angled rail kits sold for rack mounting won't do. The flat rails are 12U long as opposed to 10U for rack mounting. They mount flush on the front of the wood cross pieces using wood screws. They aren't available yet, still caught in the machine shop backlog.
