PS. For you Kenton 2000 owners out there. Is there
enough room on the rack ears to drill holes 2 rows for 
1/4" jacks on either side of the Kenton? I would like to
mount jacks here and make 1/8" to jack adapter cables
so I can access all of the Kenton rear mounted jacks 1/4"
style from the front face of my modular. how about 
additional room for a MIDI in jack too. Is it possible?

I have done this, but you cannot get ALL functions.  You can get up to six
1/4 jacks per ear.  Or, four jacks and a MIDI IN.  So, I have MIDI in and
both CVs and GATEs on one ear, and the six AUX outs on the other.  That
takes care of all MY front panel needs.  Otherwise you need to expand to
other locations like the panel Chris did (or some other version).
