Thanks so much for all the suggestions! I decided to
build an EFG myself; a colleague here in the lab (a
very pretty girl) kindly allowed me to use her PC to
order the panel.
In the long run, I'll probably have to go the
VirtualPC path as Charles indicated - although it
seems like using nuclear weapons against a swarm of
wasps....
