Re: [motm] OT:Mouser

I don't remember about the shipping charge, but I did have a funny
happenstance with a Mouser back order. It was a couple of CMOS chips and
took several months to come. The funny thing is that I placed another order
in the mean time and the chips were now in stock, so I ordered them again.
I received this second order a couple of months ahead of the back order. As
a result, I've decided not to order anything that is not in stock with
Mouser.

An unrelated tip. I wanted a chip listed in their print and PDF catalog
that did not show up in the parts search and could not be added to the
online orderform. So I simply requested it in the notes section of the
order and they included it.
