I look forward to hearing the report. :) > I plan to order one that is walnut, so I can compare that. I do not understand the difference between the stains "Special Walnut" and "Dark Walnut". It is kind of hard to tell from the small samples. I would think dark walnut would be pretty dark on a wood like pine. > Larry, how deep is the new walnut cabinet Paul used at NAMM 2003? The straight cabinet is 10" deep. For comparison, dot com are 8 1/2" and my personal cabinets are 11.5". 10' seems quite nice. I have never actually had a 900 power supply in my hands (cough, cough), so I cannot comment on if 10" would be deep enough to allow the power supply on the back. I guess it depends on the recess of the front rack rails. 10" was plenty deep to have the power supply mounted inside and put a MOTM size module in front of it. However, Blacet and other deep brackets sized modules could not go in front of the power supply in the 10" deep cabinet. > My MOTM gear will definitely will be going into a Stooge Enterprises solid walnut cabinet kit (if they come to pass). The first "test kit" is being built as we type. :) Larry H
