Here's another place to try for road type cases, Star Case:

They make semicustom cases.  They have an interesting configuration that is
a double wide set, side by side rack rails, perfect for a modular based upon
rack rails.  Look for the F-1D and F4-D.  Minimum depth was about 10" which
isn't too bad.
