hello all,
and i can understand why no one would like to answer this - it involves
pulling modules out cherished racks, anyway, i'm prepared to offer this:

my 831 weighs 385 grams - which is 1u, so we could resonably assume a 2u
module weighs slightly less than double - say 700 grams
as for my cabinet loaded / unloaded weight - i shudder to think / would
rather not find out
if you're looking for a light case, the SKB (and there are also cheaper
copies now as well) range is supposed to be the lightest that offers
protection - there are lighter cases around made from expanded pvc board,
but they are truely shite unless you're not planning on moving the cases
around

maybe a little more information on what you're wanting to do - and more
answers will be forthcoming
